We help Tri-Cities gardeners establish new gardens and troubleshoot existing gardens so you can get the maximum benefit with minimum effort.
We will visit your garden site and give you the direction you need to start a productive garden you can enjoy year-round.
We will discuss your goals and walk your garden site to determine what setup will help you meet those goals and how Rooted in the Mountains can help.
Is your garden site outside our service area? No problem! You can still benefit from our virtual garden consultations and group workshops.
Whether you are outside our service area or would prefer a virtual consultation, you can get many of the same benefits as an in-person meeting. We will meet via Google Meet and discuss your available space and gardening goals. We do ask that you be in your garden space for the consult so your consultant can view your space.
Let an experienced gardener walk you through every stage of your gardening journey until you become a confident, successful gardener. Our coaching includes the following:

We help homeowners, renters, restaurant owners, and other business owners who want to grow gardens for themselves, their families, the farmer's market, or customers.
We help our customers set up raised bed gardens. Raised bed gardens offer numerous benefits over in-ground gardening and they are easier to plant and tend.
No, we do not offer landscaping, mowing, or yard maintenance services. We focus on doing one thing and doing it really, really well: Helping you set up and maintain a successful kitchen garden.
Establishing a raised bed garden is an investment in your property and your health. We recommend starting with at least two raised beds if you can. The cost can range from a few hundred to a several thousand depending on your setup. However, most people find that the benefits far outweigh the costs. We will discuss your budget during your initial consultation and help you explore a garden plan that fits, even if it means starting small and building it up over time.
Once you fill your raised bed with soil and start planting, it is basically a permanent structure. Moving the raised bed would require removing all of the plants and soil, and it could still suffer damage during the move. It is important to choose your site carefully. If you rent your property, we recommend smaller raised beds on wheels so they are portable.
We recommend purchasing our comprehensive gardening guide before purchasing coaching, as this will save you money, and our ebook contains all the information you need to get started. It will also help you get the most out of coaching. If you would still like to use our coaching and consulting services, you can book a free 15-minute discovery call, during which we will determine what type of coaching program would benefit you.
