Before I ever planted my first seed, I spent years working in human development and philanthropy across the globe. That work taught me something powerful: when people come together around a purpose, real change can happen.

When I discovered the joy of growing herbs, greens, and vegetables in my own backyard, something clicked. Gardening grounded me, inspired me — and I knew I had to share that feeling with others.

In 2015, I turned that passion into Rooted Garden, a company dedicated to creating kitchen gardens right here in Houston, TX. What started as a one-woman operation — designing, digging, planting, maintaining — has grown into a thriving team of talented professionals who bring edible gardens to life across the city.

Rooted Garden is more than just a business. It’s a way to connect people to their food, their health, and their sense of purpose — one garden at a time.
